Yesterday Steve was in a bind and needed mommy to come to work and help. Even though I didn’t want to leave Sarah because of how bad her nose was running, I reluctantly agreed to go in and let Nana Jacquie and Kenna and Kristen care for the troops.

As I was leaving, Nana Jacquie was the only one here so far to sit, and Renee was here putting Elisa’s new daybed together…and I told Elisa some women were coming to visit her. I didn’t want to tell her who they were because I wanted it to be a surprise. I just said some ladies were coming over later and that she needed to behave so they could come over…

Well, I don’t know where this came from but she then asked me, “Mommy, is Nanny 911 coming over?” It was hilarious!!! She wasn’t scared or anything, don’t worry I am not threatening Nanny 911 on her…she was actually curious. I guess many ladies coming over means the Nanny is coming to visit. Who knows what she thinks. It was just so funny.

Now when Elisa and I are discussing things she likes to say to me, “So, mommy…as I was saying…” and then go on with whatever she wants to talk about. She takes this nice long pause between the “so” and the “mommy” part and it is SOOO dramatic. Nana Jacquie got Elisa the perfect shirt that says “Drama Queen”. Elisa lives up to that to the fullest!!!!
