Last night Elisa’s kindergarten class had their first play. They put on a musical called “Circus Circus”. It was ADORABLE. Elisa was dressed as an elephant and she came out in the beginning and played a kazoo. It was hard to see her because she sat on the side of the stage that we did so we were angled all wrong, but we got to watch her sing and do the hand movements and stuff. She was so cute! All the kids were hilarious. They sang to music and a few had some speaking parts that would just crack us up. Apparently this circus had lost it’s ringleader. So they all tried out to be one. Then the clowns and lions did a song too. Cute.
My dad, Britney, Steve’s mom and dad and little Anthony, Danae and Matt all joined us to see Elisa’s first school play. It was a fun night. Thanks to everyone for coming out. Sarah did not behave so well and had to spend most of the time in the back of the cafeteria while she screamed and didn’t listen. Of course, as soon as we got home she was a new kid and was happy and quiet and playing nicely. We learned our lesson and Sarah will stay home with a babysitter next time. It’s quite a challenge to manage 2 little ones while your older one is doing something with school and it’s something we will have to get used to doing for a while. The good thing is by the time Sarah and Stephen have school plays, Elisa will be old enough to help with the new baby and everyone can attend again. Until then…Sarah will stay home.
Thanks again to everyone for coming - video clips to be in the gallery soon!
