…since last year!
So Yeah, I haven’t written a blog post since last year. So much has happened. Holidays with 4 kids. Toddlers. Crawling. Substitute teaching. Going back to work from home for the family. Moves. Weddings. Pregnancies. Eek!
Life is busy for us, but I have to say I am trying my best to enjoy it. I have learned that it’s easy to get caught up and complain about how hard things are. I do it often! But, there are so many good things happening amongst the things I complain about. And the holiday season helped me to realize that we so SOOO fortunate. Our family and friends were so sweet and generous to each of us and we are so thankful to have had the wonderful holiday season that we did. Our kids were so well behaved and happy during Christmas…it was so much fun to watch them with everyone. I have seen and read lots of things that have made me thankful for what I have today. That’s right folks - amongst the 4 kids, 2 jobs and overworked husband I do find some time to read!
I hope to get back to blogging more often now that I have a new baby PowerBook in the house. She is small and wee and powerful and keeps me connected no matter which room I am chasing my kids out of. If you can afford it, switch to Apple because they truly are far more superior than the microsoft crap most of us deal with daily. I am able to work so much more efficiently now with this baby. I am in love! Hehehe…
Did you make any New Year’s resolutions? It seems like those things are going out of style. I hope people are starting to realize that they can make a change ANY DAY - not just at the beginning of a New Year. I have goals that I have set and hope to work on, but I didn’t set them all on New Year’s Day. There are lots of things to work on that take time, patience, and resolve and I hope to continue to keep up with those things from last year and into this year.
Ah, this was nice and random - hope you all enjoyed it. I will try to drop a post at least once a week here and in the kiddo journal as they are growing and changing lots as usual and I need to record it all somewhere! Happy New Year everyone…
