Trying to keep up on this

November 21st, 2005

Ok, so I know I’m bad at keeping up with my blog. It seems there is never enough time for anything these days, and trying to keep my blog updated isn’t always at the top of my list. But I am going to try to do a better job and trying to blog more than once every two months. :)

Elisa had her school play last week called Circus Circus. It was cute to see all these little kids up there doing their part. I know Elisa was proud of her part. She was an elephant that walked across stage blowing a kazoo (which you couldn’t hear), then she sat/stood at her seat and sang and did the motions to the songs they were singing. Her poor elephant ears were too big for her and kept sliding down her face, so constantly she having to push them back up.

Work has been pretty busy lately. There is hardly any time to do anything besides make pizzas lately. I worked over 12-13 hours each day from Fri-Sun. It sucks because I don’t get to see my wife or kids hardly at all for those 3 days. However, I’m thankful I have a job that pays pretty well even though it’s hard to keep a balance between both work and home.

Sarah, Stephen, & Elisa are adorable. I love being able to have conversations with Elisa. She is developing into a big girl and it’s a pleasure seeing her grow and learn. Sarah and Stephen are so cute. So many precious moments, I wish I could be a part of each one. Stephen is beginning to say some more words. Sarah still says “Dis? for everything, but it’s still cute.

My aunt and her husband are going through some rough times right now in their marriage. They just recently celebrated being married 30 years and now it appears that has come to an end. This has been hard for them both and it came as a shock for our whole family. It wasn’t something any of us thought would every happen. They always talked about their marriage and how good it was. I just don’t understand why this has to happen. It’s going to be wierd not seeing them together anymore. I cannot imagine the pain my aunt is going through right now after now having 30 years of marriage over with. I wish she would move back here to Orlando, but I’m sure she will stay where she’s at. I pray that since it does not appear they will be together, that they will be able to move on, have some peace about this and start a new life. I will never forget the memories of them, and I will continue to pray for them.

Melanie has been seeing the baby kicking and moving more lately. Elisa even saw it! I, however have not. Hopefully soon I will get to see little baby moving around. I can’t wait till when the baby is born. I was putting Stephen and Sarah for their naps and realized that soon enough we will be back to size 1 diapers and feedings every 3 hours. There were some hard times and we have many years of challenges that lay ahead, but I know that it will be worth it to see our kids grow up and experience all the joys that not everyone can.

Ok, I’ll blog!
